The 2018 Mazda6 comes in five trims; Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature. The Sport and Touring use the base 2.5 liter inline-4 engine rated at 187 horsepower. The Grand Touring, Reserve, and Signature trims use a turbocharged engine rated at 250 horsepower on premium fuel. All trims use the same 6-speed automatic transmission. There is a 6-speed manual available on the Sport but it may not be available on a dealer lot.
Available features give the Mazda6 a luxury feel, including redesigned seats with available cooling and Nappa leather. There is an available heads-up display not available on many competitors' offerings. The Mazda6 has an enviable level of active safety features: low speed automatic emergency braking on lower trims, full-speed emergency braking on higher trims, available adaptive cruise control, active lane control, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams. LED headlights are standard on all trims, as well as an 8-inch infotainment system centrally located on the dashboard and dual-zone climate control.
