Whether you prefer to call the 2018 Mazda CX-9 a full-size SUV or large crossover doesn't change the fact that this vehicle has loads of classy style. It's perhaps the best looking SUV in its market class. It also has several features as standard equipment which are normally only found on more expensive SUVs.

The Mazda CX-9 is offered in a variety of model trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature. All trims use the same 2.5 liter turbocharged inline-4 engine developing 250 hp on premium gas, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available for an additional fee, with front-wheel drive standard. The Mazda CX-9's steering is well designed and offers a sporty feel for its size. The suspension is front strut and rear multi-link for a ride that will perform well on a variety of road surfaces.

Inside the 2018 Mazda CX-9 is three-row seating, with plenty of second row room and reclining seats there. Smaller adults and children are best suited for the third row. Most trims have power-adjustable front seats. The interior is composed of high-quality materials which exceed most competitors, and a low dashboard and infotainment system give better light and visibility through the windshield.
