Power and Off-Road-Ready Performance

The Mazda CX-50 is a powerful SUV with a standard Skyactiv^®-G 2.5L engine with 187 horsepower. You can opt for an available turbo version of the same engine, which rockets your horsepower up to a whopping 250 horsepower. Both gas engines will work with a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Those who prefer a hybrid or electric engine are in the works for the Mazda CX-50 but are not yet available.

To help with traction, whether on or off-road, the Mazda CX-50 has standard i-Activ^® All-Wheel Drive. You can even customize your driving experience, including an off-road drive mode via Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive).

In addition to the off-road drive mode, the Mazda CX-50 offers a higher ground clearance than other models like the Mazda CX-5 so that you can tackle rugged terrain.

Inside Your Next Adventure Companion

The Mazda CX-50 seats five, so you can bring the family or some friends along on your next adventure into the great outdoors. There’s enough space to get comfortable even on long road trips. The fabric inside the Mazda CX-50 is taken from sturdy hiking backpacks to give you an adventuring feel.

You can choose interior colors which reflect nature all around with deep browns and soft blacks—not only pleasant but relaxing. There is also an infotainment system you can expect to find in the Mazda CX-50. You can use it to stay connected while you’re on the go.

An available panoramic sunroof, a first for Mazda, gives your passengers a beautiful view of trees or the open sky while you drive. It also lets in some additional natural light!

The exterior of the Mazda CX-50 is heavily influenced by nature and what you might need when on your next adventure.

The Mazda CX-50 has a wide stance and low roofline, which offers a powerful-looking design with rugged touches. Available roof rails let you carry additional outdoor equipment, including kayaks, storage units, and even rooftop tents so that you can camp anywhere.

The additional height for the Mazda CX-50’s liftgate helps you load more cargo easily into the crossover. Match this with elongated cargo space, and you can fit what you need to enjoy your off-roading adventures.
