2019 Mazda CX-3

There are three trim levels available on the 2019 Mazda CX-3. The base trim level is the Sport. It includes 16-inch wheels and projector beam halogen headlights. You do have the option to upgrade to LED headlamps. A black grille with chrome accents is complemented by black bodyside cladding and a chrome-tipped exhaust. The bumpers and door handles are body-colored. The middle trim level on the 2019 CX-3 is the Touring. The Touring isn't a huge departure from the Sport trim. It includes larger, 18-inch wheels, but keeps the grille, lighting, bumper, and bodyside cladding styling of the previous trim. Turn signal indicators in the side view mirrors are added to this trim level. The highest trim level on the CX-3 is the Grand Touring. One of the largest standard inclusions is the upgrade to LED headlamps. The black bodyside cladding also includes a stylish chrome insert, giving the Grand Touring a more modern exterior feel. A chrome grille and chrome inserts on the front bumper helps create a more cohesive look overall.

When it comes to engine options, there isn't much choice, as there is only one engine configuration on this year's model. However, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The 148-horsepower engine is fully capable of delivering an exhilarating driving experience. The 2-liter engine also produces 146 pound-feet of torque, which is good enough for very light towing.

While there is only one engine option on the 2019 Mazda CX-3, there are other choices to make when it comes to performance. Both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive are available on all trim levels. If you anticipate lots of winter driving, you'll definitely want to opt for the all-wheel-drive option. The CX-3 is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission. However, if you want a manual, the system has a built-in manual function which allows you to choose your own gear shifts. Gas-pressurized shocks, independent front and rear suspension, and speed-sensitive power steering all help to deliver a smooth and comfortable drive.

Lower trim levels on the 2019 CX-3 include cloth upholstery, while higher trim levels have more luxurious leather seating. The rear seats fold in a 60/40 configuration, allowing you to maximize your cargo capacity without sacrificing all your passenger space. Internet access, wireless phone connectivity, and voice-activated radio controls are all standard on the CX-3s robust entertainment console. SiriusXM radio is configurable on higher trim levels.

There are several excellent safety and driver assistance features available on the CX-3. Automatic high-beams can intelligently enable or disengage high-beams when appropriate. Rear crossing traffic sensors make backing out of a parking space a breeze. Lane departure warnings, blind spot monitoring, and forward collision detection are also available driver assistance features.
