2019 Mazda CX-9

There are four trim level options on the 2019 CX-9. The Sport trim serves as the base model for this year's release. The CX-9 Sport includes 18-inch alloy wheels, projector beam LED headlamps, and auto-leveling headlights. Visually, the Sport trim is equipped with black bodyside cladding, chrome exhaust tips, black bumpers, and a chrome grille. Turn signal indicators are installed in the side-view mirrors. The Touring trim includes the same lighting and exterior features as the Sport trim. The third trim level is the Grand Touring. It features larger, 20-inch alloy wheels and a chrome bodyside insert on the cladding, giving the trim a more modern feel. A similar chrome insert is also added to the front bumper. Heated side-view mirrors help make winter driving a lot easier. The fourth and highest trim level on the 2019 Mazda CX-9 is the Signature. It includes the same excellent features and wheel size as the Grand Touring, but includes fog lamps, deeply tinted windows, and a chrome rub strip on the rear bumper.

There is only one powerful and capable engine configuration on the 2019 CX-9. The four-cylinder engine produces 227 horsepower. It is also capable of producing 310 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 rpms.

Thanks to a capable engine and attention to detail in design, the 2019 Mazda CX-9 has several impressive performance features for its class. The first three trims are available with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Signature trim is only available with all-wheel drive. The CX-9 has a six-speed automatic transmission with an auto/manual mode, which allows the driver to shift gears on their own. Gas-pressurized shocks with rear coil springs, coupled with a multi-link independent suspension, give the CX-9 an impeccably smooth driving experience.

The interior of the 2019 CX-9 is refined and feature rich. There is seating for seven passengers including the driver. The back row of seating folds in a 60/40 configuration, which allows for the creation of more cargo room if needed. Lower trim levels include a leather-shifting knob, chrome interior accents, a leather steering wheel, and cloth upholstery. Higher trim levels include leather seating and wood panel inserts. In regards to entertainment, the CX-9 has many available features to keep everyone in the vehicle happy. Smart device integration is available through the MAZDA CONNECT system. Features such as real-time weather are standard on higher trim levels.

The 2019 Mazda CX-9 has several safety features including front and rear cameras, cross traffic detection, and more. Braking support with collision mitigation is available and there are six air bags located throughout the cabin, including side curtain air bags for all three rows of seating.
