Sport, Touring, or Signature: Which Mazda 6 Is Right for You?The 2019 Mazda6 provides a quiet, comfortable ride. It’s responsive, fun to drive, and easy to handle. Even though it’s a family sedan, it looks and feels like a sleek, refined sports car. It has a large, oval mesh grille with the Mazda emblem in the center, angular headlights, chrome dual exhaust, and a graceful, curved profile. Whether you’re looking for a safe, entertaining drive or plenty of luxury, there’s a model for you. Here’s some more information about the trim levels available for the 2019 Mazda6.

Sport

The base Sport uses sound-insulating glass, a precisely tuned independent suspension, power steering, and acoustic insulation to minimize noise and vibrations. It has LED headlights with leveling, LED taillights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and 17-inch wheels with all-season tires. It also comes with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual and sport modes. The 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine generates 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. With the automatic transmission, it can get 26 mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the highway.

The seats are designed to encourage good posture and reduce fatigue on long drives, and there’s a leather-wrapped steering wheel with controls and a leather-wrapped shift knob. The Sport comes with a variety of convenient features, including a six-speaker sound system, Bluetooth, voice activation, an 8-inch touch screen, keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. HD radio is compatible with Pandora, Aha, and Stitcher.

This Mazda6 also has a variety of popular safety and driver assistance features, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and low-speed forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. The advanced front airbags have seat belt and passenger weight sensors. It comes with dynamic stability control, traction control, hill start assistance, a rearview camera, radar cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and lane departure warning as well.

Touring

The Touring adds many luxury features, including 19-inch wheels, two rear USB charging ports, two 12-volt power outlets, and a power sunroof. The seats are faux leather, and you can fold the rear ones. The front seats have heating with three different settings. There’s also a power driver’s seat, push-button start, and heating and air conditioning vents for the rear seats. The Touring is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a USB audio input makes listening to music from your smartphone or another device easy.

Signature

The 2019 Mazda6 Signature’s grille has a unique gunmetal finish. You’ll get power-folding side mirrors, an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror, and a shark fin antenna. It also has luxurious Nappa leather sport seats, ventilated and heated power front seats, and memory settings for the driver’s seat. The steering wheel has unique stitching and paddle shifters, and the dashboard and doors have suede and wood inserts.
